What we believe: In cooperation with the York Baptist Association, and the Southern Baptist Convention; In doctrine, policy and practice we are a New Testament, missions minded and supporting, autonomous congregation of believers in Jesus Christ.
The Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative word of God.
There is one God, eternally existent as the Father, Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is God, in His Virgin birth, His sinless life, in His atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, and in His personal return in power and glory.
Salvation of lost sinful man is by God's grace through faith alone, and is necessary for man's right relationship with God.
Each Christian is a priest unto God and is capable of communion with God through His Holy Spirit, being led and instructed in Christian living and in the comprehension of God's Word by His Spirit.
The indwelling Holy Spirit, through His ministry within the Christian, enables the Christian to live a Godly life.
A bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost is assured, the saved to eternal joy in Heaven, the lost to eternal judgment in Hell.
The New Testament Church is the bride and body of Christ, and is the key channel of carrying out the Great Commission; all other ministries should be related to the church and should edify and strengthen the church.
The tithe is the Lord's, and is to be given through the local church to the kingdom work.
Every Christian has been called, gifted, and equipped as part of the Body to a life of services and ministry.
The Way of Salvation
ADMIT THAT YOU ARE A SINNER:
The Bible says, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).
KNOW THAT GOD HAS ALREADY PROVIDED FOR YOUR SALVATION:
"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).
KNOW THAT YOU CANNOT SAVE YOURSELF:
"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us" (Titus 3:5).
REPENT OF YOUR SINS:
"Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish" (Luke 13:3)
ASK JESUS CHRIST TO SAVE YOU:
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be SAVED" (Romans 10:13) and "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved." (Acts 16:31)
CONFESS JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR BEFORE OTHERS:
"If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9 & 10).
Have you asked Christ to save you? If not, will you accept Him as your Savior now?
